The Eternal Rose — the Queen of Flowers and the Flower of Love
As early as 600 BCE, the Greek poet Sappho referred to the rose as the "queen of flowers." The Egyptian queen Cleopatra is also said to have been one of the first to use roses as a symbol of love. To this day, the love, passion, and symbolic power associated with roses remains unchanged.
